Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated at: https://et25609.tbs.hosterra.academy. It is a personal blog about nightlife and activities in Toulouse.

Comments

When visitors leave comments, the data entered in the comment form is stored together with the visitor’s IP address and browser user‑agent. This helps with spam detection.
An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) can appear next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to re‑enter your details for future comments. These cookies usually last for about one year.
When you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies store your login information and display preferences. Login cookies generally last for two days and screen‑options cookies for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login can remain active for around two weeks. When you log out, login cookies are removed.
If you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie may be stored in your browser. It contains the ID of the post you edited and usually expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles from other websites. This embedded content behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website directly.
These third‑party sites may collect data about you, use their own cookies, include additional tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to their service.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security reasons.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows follow‑up comments to be recognised and approved automatically instead of being held in a moderation queue.
For registered users (if registration is enabled), the personal information provided in the user profile is stored as long as the account exists. Users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data held about you, including any data you have supplied. You can also request that such personal data be erased. This does not apply to data that must be kept for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam-detection service.
